Fees
Fees and legal aid
Transparency on fees is a priority of the firm. A written fee agreement is drawn up at the very start of the engagement.
Billing methods
Hourly
Based on an hourly rate, adapted to the nature and complexity of the matter.
Fixed fee
An amount agreed in advance for a defined service.
Success fee
An additional fee based on the outcome, in addition to the fee for work done.
A written fee agreement is, as a rule, mandatory and sets out the amount or method of determining the fees, as well as the anticipated costs and disbursements (Act of 31 December 1971, art. 10). Fees may not be set solely on the basis of the outcome, but an additional success fee is permitted.
Legal aid
Subject to income conditions, legal aid (Act no. 91-647 of 10 July 1991) covers court costs in full or in part. The thresholds and scale are revised regularly.
The exact current amounts are not reproduced here to avoid outdated information. They are available on the official site service-public.fr, updated every year.
